A comparative prospective study in the management of Helicobacter pylori infection using Lactobacillus reuteri Vs conventional therapy

Background: Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) infection has become a remarkable worldwide health problem. The eradication of H. challenge. Probiotics have proven beneficial in reducing the side effects and increases patient compliance. Lactobacillus reuteri (L. reuteri) is frequently used probiotic considered safe for human consumption. aim this study was to compare effectiveness conventional antibiotic triple therapy management infection.
 Methods: This prospective observational carried out period six months. Patient data were extracted from their medical records. Treatment outcome evaluated based on report Rapid Urease Test (RUT). Symptoms assessed using Gastrointestinal Symptom Rating Scale (GSRS). Descriptive statistics summarize characteristics. T-test, chi square test one way ANOVA wherever appropriate.
 Results: A total 105 patients with confirmed included, which 42% males 58% females. mean age three group 38.03±10.68, 34.00±13.36 36.11±13.37 years. Eradication rate noted only treatment 86%, reuteri+ ppi 86% 92%. Patients different treatments shown significant improvement gastrointestinal symptoms (p < 0.001).
 Conclusion: overall suggest that L. recommended better reduced symptoms. Though an increased symptoms, there no great difference when compared treated patients.
